Carefree

Packing Tips & Tricks

  • Ladies, leave your skin regimen at home! All you need is sunblock, moisturizer with spf, a good moisturizing face wash and you're good, promise.

  • Bring waterproof makeup. Whether you hit the waters or not, the heat alone will melt everything. That being said, you don't really need heavy makeup, light or no makeup is best!

  • Cotton clothes are fantastic for hot weather. They are breathable and airy fabric; try not to bring heavy clothing or synthetic fabrics, as you will get overheated.

  • The outlets in the Caribbean/Mexico are the same as in the states (super promise).

  • Don't bring a curler/straightener; the Caribbean is very humid and whatever you curled would be straight a minute after you leave your room. It's best to bring a texture serum to do messy/beach hair.

  • Bring inexpensive sunglasses! I can't even count the number of name brand sunglasses I've lost in my 18 years of traveling internationally. Either that or they get damaged. Not worth the hassle!

  • What's already in the room: Privilege

    • 2 robes

    • 2 pairs of slippers

    • Hair Dryer

    • Towels

    • Steamer/Iron
